Confidence Coaching Success With Diana S.

“Since working with Suzanne I’ve been really happy! And I’ve stepped up and done things I’ve never been able to do before or for a long time.

I’m not afraid to speak out in my classes anymore; I actually got a reference letter from one of my professors this semester for participating in class and being involved. It’s been great! I’ve joined two honour societies, joined their exec team and went through public speeches to do this (never did I think I would be able to do speeches in public!)

I’ve noticed things like I’m more likely to say Hi or make casual conversation with people at grocery stores, coffee shops, etc. which are just little things which make my life so much better.

I’ve met a really nice guy and this guy might be the sweetest and most caring guy I’ve ever met. He shocks me every day with his kindness because it’s something I’ve always valued and wanted but never got back from any guy. He’s unlike anyone I’ve ever liked before, that’s is so great.

I think that’s my biggest thing that I’ve learned, is being my authentic self. I know I’m different and more quirky than the other girls and people I meet in my sorority/other fraternities, but I’m okay with that. I didn’t think I could be because I just wanted to fit in, but being myself makes me so much more happy than being what I think everyone else wants me to be. It’s empowering and it attracts such different people in my life. I’d rather have a limited close group of friends who do appreciate me and who I am than have to pretend and be someone I’m not.

That’s what I got to learn through our sessions together. I’m not hiding behind fake personas anymore. Being different is key, we’re all individuals. I never understood that before. I do still have moments of when I care what others think, but on a whole, I try and let that by me. Because ultimately, one of the most important things I’ve realized is that other people’s opinions aren’t going to create a life for me. They’re only gonna hold me back! So I’ve learned to let it go. Everything that bothers me, I let it go. I’ve actually gotten a small tattoo to remind myself to “Let it go”, because it has been what’s holding me back.

So thank you. You gave me all the tools and at first, I didn’t apply them and didn’t see anything happening, so I got discouraged. But coming to that realization that I now have the tools to do this is what changed me. And I truly have you to thank for that. I so enjoyed our 4 months of working together, and you’ve taught me more than I even know. So I am incredibly thankful for that.

I will always remember our sessions as the greatest thing I ever did for myself.”
