My Trip To Montreal

I recently went on holidays to Montreal. It’s such a cool city because it feels very much like Europe but is a modern, diverse city (with almost all people there speaking English), with amazing shopping and fantastic restaurants.

My friend and I had the BEST oysters EVER at Cavalli, and really unique seafood entrees at La Bremner. There’s so many fun things to do, one of my favourites was The Piknic Electronik, Montreal’s weekly Sunday summer event. “Dance, eat and be merry while enjoying incomparable view of the year and city quality electronic music, all in a comfortable and warm environment.”While dancing there I met the coolest grandma! (My Omi was super awesome, but I would have never seen her out dancing here 😉 She was a fabulous 76 year old lady who was and a cancer survivor who clearly knew about the importance of having FUN and connecting with people 🙂 What a cool experience!

And 17th century Montreal is still apparent today in Old Montreal. It’s retained much of its charm with cobblestone streets, horse-drawn carriages and original architecture. The Hotel Nelligan was great and I ate really good poutine at “Montreal Poutine”

Here’s some pics and videos:
