Are you the most important person in your life?

How often do you make time for yourself?

Most women take on way more than they can handle. So much to do and not enough time in a day to do it. As a result, they are over-worked, stressed out and exhausted by the end of the day. What do you think the effect is on the people around you? Do they feel these negative effects? Of course they do!!

Many women are more concerned about making everyone else in their life a priority before themselves, whether it’s their children, boyfriend/husband, boss, or friends. But this is your life and when you make yourself a priority and start doing the things that make YOU happy, and saying no to the things that don’t, your life becomes much more enjoyable.

Just as the flight attendant tells you to put your oxygen mask on first, BEFORE helping others with theirs, it is equally important to put yourself first to be happy with yourself in your daily life.

You MUST take care of yourself and your needs by learning how to put yourself at the top of your “To-do” list.  When you are frustrated, stressed out, burned out or exhausted, everyone else in your life will feel it. But when you are fulfilled, happy and healthy everyone else in your life will feel it too. Either way, there is a ripple effect. You get to choose if it’s a positive or negative ripple effect.
