What motivated you to start your business?
Massage therapist, The freedom of having my own business and helping other people.
What do you enjoy most about it?
I love it all! I wake up in the morning excited to go to work and at the end of each day I’m sad to leave. It’s my pride and joy! I really enjoy watching my staff grow in their business and in their personal lives.
What do you like least?
Nothing, really. When there are obstacles I see them as opportunities to grow. Well, if I had to pick something, it would have to be getting the Payroll organized.
How did having confidence in yourself and your business idea play a role in starting your business?
I never doubted myself. I had a vision and there was no doubt in my mind I would be successful. When you believe that and know that there’s no other option other than being successful, you will be.
Have a clear vision, believe it will happen and then do whatever it takes. If you do whatever it takes and never give up, you will always a way to get what you want. Be passionate, driven and motivated about what you do.
Too much for you. You can’t it. Having the support from friends. People around you believing in you. Having encouragement and support.
What do you do to keep yourself motivated?
Sharing my vision with like-mind people and having a good peer group.
What’s 1 really important thing you’ve learned along the way?
You have to have a vision and really believe in it. Believe it in your heart and never lose sight of it.
What would you recommend to any women that might be thinking about starting their own business?
Attend workshops and seminars to help you learn and grow.
People can have self-limiting beliefs. So it’s important to learn about yourself and your life. Go to seminars, get some awesome tools to pull out your confidence and help you in both your personal life and in business. Keep learning and grow in every way. Read books, listen to motivational CDs. It’s a never-ending cycle of growth; you should never really want to be complacent.
Physical, mental, emotion, gives you a purpose keeps you motivated.
